Our story

About the Potrójniepozytywna Foundation

Ania had triple-negative breast cancer. People called her "triple positive" — for her spirit, her strength, for who she was. That name now belongs to this foundation.

The day after Ania's birthday, in 2021, the diagnosis came: triple-negative breast cancer. She had just turned 39.

From the very first moment, we were alone. When treatment options in Poland ran out, information ran out too — there was no one to turn to, nowhere to ask what to do next. Where to look for help abroad? Where to even begin? We gathered everything piece by piece, with effort we simply should not have had to spend at that time.

Ania walked straight ahead through all of it. She believed she would win — not out of naivety, but by choice. People called her triple positive. Because that is who she was. Even when the diagnosis said something else.

Together we saw the gap. Together we decided to fill it. Together we founded this foundation.

Ania is no longer with us. But the gap we saw still exists. And there are still families — just like us back then — searching for a way, not knowing that there are still possibilities.

This is why we are here.

Mission and goals

Mission

Every family that receives a cancer diagnosis deserves a roadmap. We gather and share verified information — clinical trials, treatment centers abroad, grants, accommodation — free of charge and in Polish, so no one has to search blindly.

Long-term goal

Around the world there are many homes where children being treated far from home can have their whole family nearby — free of charge, close to the hospital. In the hardest moments, loved ones must be together. Our dream is to create such a place for Polish families receiving treatment abroad.

About the founder

Włodzimierz Korza — foundation founder

Włodzimierz Korza

Foundation founder, board president

Włodzimierz Korza — Ania's husband, software developer, foundation founder. For years he solved technical problems. Then life put him in front of a different kind of problem: where to look for treatment when Poland has nothing more to offer. No one gave that answer back then. He founded this foundation together with Ania — so that answer would exist for the next family.
