Financial support for cancer patients - Poland and abroad

One of the largest and best-known Polish organizations providing financial help to cancer patients - to date it has given patients over 25 million PLN toward costs not reimbursed by the NFZ. Through the Onkozbiórka program (formerly Skarbonka), each beneficiary gets a dedicated fundraising page where donors contribute toward their treatment. Donations go first to the foundation's account and are paid out based on invoices or transferred directly to the hospital. The foundation also helps promote the fundraiser and provides access to treatment information.

A nationwide umbrella organization active since 2009, bringing together dozens of oncology patient organizations. It runs ONKOfundusz - a community fundraising portal that helps patients raise funds for additional, medically justified therapy- and rehabilitation-related services that supplement public funding.

Provides free case management support - helping patients navigate the treatment and insurance systems - as well as a co-pay relief program for medications and therapies for insured patients. The co-pay relief program now operates under the TotalAssist brand (the former copays.org address now redirects to totalassist.org).

A financial assistance program for people undergoing breast cancer treatment (including metastatic breast cancer). As of May 1, 2026, it takes the form of a one-time payment of $400 that can be used for everyday living costs: rent, utilities, food, transportation, care, or medical needs.
