We're live. Why Potrójniepozytywna Foundation exists

Potrójniepozytywna Foundation grew out of Ania's story and the need to make sure no family has to search for a lifeline in the dark.

There are diagnoses after which the world goes quiet for a moment.

And then something begins that almost nobody talks about beforehand: frantic searching. Searching for a centre that treats this. A trial you might still qualify for. An answer to whether somewhere — in Poland or further away — there is treatment that is not yet available here.

It usually happens at night, between one phone call and the next, without a map.

I know what that looks like, because I went through it myself.

This foundation grew out of Ania's story.

We heard the diagnosis the day after her birthday — triple-negative breast cancer, one of the harder forms of the disease. People called her “potrójniepozytywna” — triply positive — for her outlook, her strength, for believing she would win: not out of naivety, but by choice.

From the very first moment we were alone with everything no one explained to us: where to get treatment, which trials were still open, who to contact.

Ania is no longer with us. But the gap we fell into then is still there — and other families keep falling into it.

That is why we are launching this place.

So that no patient and no family has to search for a lifeline in the dark. So that information that can change the course of treatment is not only available to those who have the strength, time and luck to reach it.

What you will find here from today

  • A clinical trials radar where you can see phase, recruitment status, eligibility and location in one place.
  • Help finding a treatment centre — including abroad — and understanding how to get in touch.
  • Information on grants and accommodation for families who have to be treated far from home.

Everything is free and without creating an account. You come in and use it.

This is just the beginning

What we are sharing today is a start, not an end.

We are working on “Grosz dla życia” (A Penny for Life) — a platform that will connect fundraising with real help for patients. In the longer term, we want families treated far from home to have somewhere to stay.

I am not promising we already have everything.

I am promising I will keep building this — step by step, honestly.

If you are reading this because you are searching yourself — visit “I need help”.

If you want this place to exist and grow for the next people who need it — you can support us.

Each of those things matters.

Thank you for being with us from day one.
