RecruitingPhase III🇵🇱 PolandLung cancerMetastatic / advanced

This study, known as LUNAR-2, aims to investigate the effectiveness and safety of using TTFields, delivered by the NovoTTF-200T device, concomitantly administered with pembrolizumab and platinum-based chemotherapy for patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer that has spread to other parts of the body. The primary goals of the study are to assess overall survival and progression-free survival. Secondary objectives include analyzing outcomes based on the specific histology (subtype) of the lung cancer.

RecruitingPhase III🇵🇱 PolandGastric cancerMetastatic / advanced

The goal of this randomized, double-blind, multi-regional phase 3 study of cadonilimab combined with chemotherapy versus chemotherapy in combination with or without nivolumab for the first-line treatment of participants with HER2-negative, previously untreated, unresectable or metastatic gastric or gastroesophageal junction adenocarcinoma trial is to compare OS between cadonilimab combined with chemotherapy and chemotherapy in combination with or without nivolumab in the ITT population.

RecruitingUnknown phase🇵🇱 PolandColorectal cancerMetastatic / advanced

Metastatic colorectal cancer or mCRC is a cancer that starts in the parts of the large intestine (the colon or rectum) and has already spread to other parts of the body. This cancer can be hard to treat because it can behave differently from one person to another. Over time, treatments may stop working, and side effects can build up. In later treatment stages, there are only a few standard medicine options available. Because of this, studies often look at both how long people live and how treatment affects quality of life. The main aim of this study is to see how long adults in Poland with mCRC live without their cancer getting worse (progression-free survival or PFS) when they receive fruquintinib after at least two previous treatments. Fruquintinib (TAK 113) is a medicine taken by mouth that is designed to slow tumor growth. Other aim is to find out how long adults in Poland with mCRC live while being treated with fruquintinib (overall survival or OS). The study also wants to record how fruquintinib is used in routine care in adults with mCRC in Poland (for example when treatment starts, changes in doses, and how long treatment continues). Another aim is to learn about people with mCRC, such as their medical history and past treatment as well as their quality of life while they are in the study. The study will look at data already existing in the participants' medical charts.

About the trial

This phase II trial tests whether TRC102 (methoxyamine hydrochloride) in combination usual care treatment comprised of pemetrexed, cisplatin or carboplatin, and radiation therapy followed by durvalumab works better than the usual care treatment alone to shrink tumors in patients with stage III non-squamous non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). TRC102 is in a class of drugs called antineoplastic agents. It blocks the ability of a cell to repair damage to its deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) and may kill tumor cells. It may also help some anticancer drugs work better. Pemetrexed is in a class of medications called antifolate antineoplastic agents. It works by stopping cells from using folic acid to make DNA and may kill tumor cells. Cisplatin is in a class of medications known as platinum-containing compounds. It works by killing, stopping or slowing the growth of tumor cells. Carboplatin is in a class of medications known as platinum-containing compounds. It works in a way similar to the anticancer drug cisplatin, but may be better tolerated than cisplatin. Carboplatin works by killing, stopping or slowing the growth of tumor cells. Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as durvalumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Radiation therapy uses high energy sources to kill tumor cells and shrink tumors. Giving TRC102 in combination with usual care treatment may be more effective than usual care treatment alone in stabilizing and lengthening survival time in patients with stage III non-squamous NSCLC.
